The 5th international conference "Eco-Geographical and Eco-Biological Challenges in Northern Black Sea Region" held in Tiraspol, Transnistria, Moldova, on 14th of November.

Numerous academics and eco-NGOs took part in it (more then 120), including from Moldova (more then 50), Ukraine, Russia and Romania. The conference was supported by OSCE Mission to Moldova via Eco-TIRAS. The conference became the joint initiative of Tiraspol State University and NGOs Eco-TIRAS (Chisinau) and Ecospectrum (Bender). The conference has been supported by the OSCE Mission to Moldova and organized by the Tiraspol State University and NGOs Eco-TIRAS and Ecospectrum-Bender.
