The Project PPCCAM 2 (The Syrdarya River and North Aral Sea Regulation Project, Phase 2) is a follow-up of completed PPCCAM 1 aiming at the following: further environmental restoration in Prearalie; improvement of water use efficiency in the lower reaches; capacity building in water resources management at the local, national, and interstate levels. The project area covers the Kazakh part of the Syrdarya river basin and the North Aral Sea.
