Umarov Kh.U., Yakubov Sh.Kh., Alimdjanov A.A. Experience in Reduction of Accounts Receivable by WUAs in the Command Area of the South-Fergana Main Canal

The article considers ways of establishment and re-registration of WUAs as a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It discusses the role of contracts in relations between WUAs and water users. At present, many WUAs do not pay proper attention to activity of General Meetings, Councils and commissions of WUA, without which activity of WUAs is challenged. The authors consider reasons behind an increase of accounts receivable in relation to activities of WUA Councils and commissions. The article describes the results of analysis of accounts receivable and the ways to eliminate them.
