Given publication contains full reports prepared for discussion in the Interdepartmental ichthyology commission at the joint meeting of the Scientific-Consulting Council and the Special interest community for large dams on 25th of February 2010. An assessment of the effects of dam construction and operation on conservation and reproduction of aquatic bio-resources was discussed. 65 experts from Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Astrakhan, Rostov-na-Donu, Volgograd, Toliaty, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, St.Petersburg, Moscow, Chernovtsy (Ukraine), and Harbin (China) took part in the meeting. This meeting was organized with the support of WWF Russian branch, ANO “NERA” and RusHydro Company.
