Agricultural land users traditionally pay attention to conditions of irrigation and drainage systems and to degree of their operation under extreme rainfall or droughts during spring-summer periods, i.e. in cases when usually only “emergency” measures are needed. Thus, recommendations for operation and efficient use of irrigation and drainage systems and of reclaimed land are of interest mainly in the context of these periods.
