This tutorial is oriented to the students studying properties of construction materials and carrying out laboratory tests of concrete strength. 

The tutorial addresses general questions of quality control of concrete work, organization of such control, and assessment methods of concrete properties. The technique of concrete strength assessment, based on GOST requirements and recommendations on control of concrete strength, construction rules and regulations on concrete construction is given and the analysis of measurement results during laboratory work is demonstrated.
