Technical evaluation of irrigation systems and hydraulic structures through RS technology is currently important in addressing problems in agricultural production. Ground and satellite data characterize the conditions of irrigation systems and hydraulic structures in the Aral-SyrDarya basin as satisfactory; however, huge efforts, such as repair, reconstruction, and automation are needed to maintain and improve them.
