Information on the situation with farm lands irrigation in the West-Kazakhstan region is submitted in the article. The natural and economic zones formed for the purpose utilization, taking into account the peculiarities of soil and climatic conditions and the amount of ploughed up farm lands, have been considered. The size of arable lands and farm crops yields obtained in 2014 in the steppe zone have been analyzed. The rates of using spray irrigation in the region are shown.
