According to forecasts of Far East scientists, in 15 years the Amur River will turn to the dead river. As a result of economic activities the Amur River is not so capable to self-restoration. Pollution of the Amur River occurs both from the Russian side, and from the Peoples Republic of China. If not to begin rehabilitation of the Amur River in the near future changes become already irreversible. According to the most conservative estimates, to restore river ecology, decades already are now necessary.
