The article discusses one of the major environmental problems water shortages standard quality. Modern ecological situation, stimulated the need for special instructional techniques in the study of the consequences of the influence of anthropogenic impact on the natural environment to their violation and the formation of complex natural and man-made systems. Such an examination of the problem was the starting point for the development and compilation of techniques for assessing the ecological status of water sources.
