Experience of practical researches of the state of waterside area of Bratsk water basin is generalized in the article. The high degree of destructive processes of watersides and unproductiveness of the conducted coast-protecting measures is marked. Recommendations on prevention of negative influence of waters on the waterside area of the Bratsk storage pool are made.
