The monitoring subsystem to calculate the optimal indices of south chernozem soils fertility within the framework of an individual farm in the south of Rostov region has been considered. The system of equations to calculate the optimal indices of south chernozem soil fertility has been developed. The general experimental-statistical model has been built and the analytical dependence, demonstrating the effect of humus, water stability and density on the NDVI vegetation index after the remediation activities, has been obtained. The final assessment of the fields’ condition by the NDVI index for the years of monitoring has been made. It is shown that in order to keep the NDVI vegetation index at a high level (the 0.32-0.96 values) it is necessary to maintain the optimum soil density at the level of not more than 1.10 t/m3, water stability should be at least at the level of 43.32% and humus at least at the level of 3.37%. With the suggested optimal values of south chernozem fertility there won’t be any disturbances of soil water and air regime on a single farm in the south of Rostov region, which is to result in a lower risk of soil fertility degradation.
