River shallows catastrophically in the district of Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod. Scientists sound alarm: they say if the drought - 2010 again, the navigation on the main Russian River will be forgotten in a year or two.

The water level in the Volga river in the Kuibyshev reservoir fell this summer at 4 meters. But population of Samara and Togliatti water shortages have not touched. But the court continued to walk along the river throughout the summer and autumn. Why? Energy can be easily explained. Volga has long been not so much a river as a system of reservoirs. They are waterfalls and the water level in them is governed by people.
