Shared resources of river runoff in Kazakhstan currently account for 100.7 km 3 / year. Surface water resources are unevenly distributed over the territory varies from year to year, thereby causing the irregular supply of water for different regions and industries. The smallest quantity of surface water resources generated within the Shu-Talas and Nour-Sarysu, most - in the Irtysh and the Balkhash-Alakol water basins.
