International scientific and technical journal "Chemistry and Technology of Water" was established in September 1979. The founders of the magazine are the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Department of Chemistry, NAS of Ukraine. The journal is the core of chemical engineering and biological sciences (decision of the Presidium of HAC of Ukraine № 1-05/7, respectively, on 09/06/1999, № 1-03/8 from 11.10.2000 № 2-05/9 and from the 14.11.2001).
