The present monograph is compiled on the basis of articles and presentations prepared in the course of scientific events dedicated to 100-Anniversary of Academician A.L.Yanshin. 

Scientists and experts of leading research institutions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and other Russian regions addressed global problems of ecology, assessment of environmental conditions and implications of climate extremes and considered issues related to development of a strategy for solution of the main environmental problems, large ecologically important regional projects, and human ecology.
