The monograph “Water Resources Management in Russia” was prepared by the Federal Water Resources Agency and the “Institute of Macroeconomics” OAO with the support of leading experts on water protection and use. The book presents important aspects of water management and protection activities as undertaken in the Russian Federation. 

This monograph discusses the normative and institutional frameworks of water resources management, analyzes existing economic mechanisms and methods of management, its informational support, and approaches to assessment of effectiveness of water governance and water protection measures as the main forms of managerial solutions in this area, as well as international aspects of water management and other topics.
