The article is devoted to the problems of hydrological risks, water consumption of Mangystau Oblast of Kazakhstan. Limited water resources in the region are related to its geographical location, the lack of it. In the article raises the problem of human settlements in urban and rural areas in the past almost no centralized water supply system and the existing water pipes are in a failed State. Distributed to population tap water in most cases by sanitary chemical indicators do not comply. This article describes the factors influencing the quality and accessibility of water and takes stock of the implemented activities.
